Bee house starter kit — bees included
A cedar bee house, nesting reeds and accessories, plus live cocoons of gentle solitary bees. Choose spring mason bees, summer leafcutter bees, or both.
Why it’s unusual
Yes, you can have bees delivered. These are solitary pollinators that rarely sting, and the kit lets you pick when they arrive so they hatch at the right time.
Who it suits
Good for
Gardeners, kids who love bugs, and anyone with fruit trees or a vegetable patch.
Skip it if
They have no garden, balcony or flowering plants nearby.
Good to know
- Bees ship on a date matched to the season you pick, not immediately — a nice “something to look forward to” gift.
